A solution was needed, Texas Hay Nets was born-it's as simple and as complicated as that. Founder and inventor, Leslie Davis, has long advocated a slow feeding regimen at her rehabilitation facility, Little Thunder Stables, specializing in founder and navicular horses.
Needing to free feed horses in various stages of rehabilitation, Leslie developed, tried and tested various home made nets and feeding systems to allow her horses to, both eat naturally, and remain safe. After numerous trips to the hardware store and a great deal of trial and error, frustration and engineering the first Texas Hay Net was born!
